Nowadays automobiles play a vital role in all walks of human life. We use motorbike, scooter, car etc., at least once in a day with little knowledge about the function of various interlinked components and their design. With requisite knowledge in design and fabrication many of the imported components used in vehicles can be replaced by indigenous components. Apart from using, the knowledge like Design, Fabrication and Tuning the above said vehicles are also more important to enhance in house resources and entrepreneurs. The Department of Automobile Engineering is conducting an event called RIDE every year during the month of September and the programme received a overwhelming response. The prime aim of the workshop is to provide enough technical knowledge about the design and fabrication of the Mini Bike, ATV and EV as per the rule book of the RIDE event. This workshop will definitely enable them to acquire required manufacturing skills.
