In-Bloom is a national-level cultural festival organised annually by Christ University, Bengaluru. It features stage, art, literary, and theatre events. In-Bloom aims to provide a platform for students from institutions across the country to channelise their creativity, sharpen their minds, and exhibit their talents within an atmosphere of amity and celebration.
The arts are a defining mark of the human race; they distinguish us from all other creatures and bring us closer to divinity. While buildings and bridges, towers and towns signal the dawn of a civilisation, its zenith comes with the flourishing of the arts. The plethora of arts - the melody of music, the texture of written text, the display of dance and drama, and the spectacle of sketches and paintings - signifies the highest expression of human creativity. The theme for In-Bloom this year celebrates this facet of human life - one which fills our world with colour and meaning - the evolution of art forms from the origin, the wonderful growth, and the abundance that is yet to come.
